She goes to law school at night and longed for the day in the world to find a man. Jackie shares an apartment with her two friends, Dominique and Susan. Dominique is a cynical assistant at Ventura Records, and neurotic Susan is about to get her license as a psychotherapist. Along working with her a her salon are her good friends Rosa and Freddy, the latter of whom is an obnoxious, womanizing English hairstylist.
