First Crush was the 5th episode of the hit Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on February 15th, 2004.
[edit] Plot synopsis
Josh fancies a girl in school named Kathy, but when he goes to talk to her he starts rambaling on about spoons. Josh asks Drake for help with his problem and Drake says he will help. Meanwhile, Drake and his band audition for a weekly gig at their local coffee shop, however Megan puts a snake in Drake's backpack so when they begin to perform the snake slithers up Drake's back. He throws the snake into the audience, consequently Drake and his band get banned from the coffee shop.
When Josh talks to Kathy again he promises that he will play the guitar at her birthday party. However, Josh cannot play the guitar, and subsequently asks Drake for advice. Drake says that he could teach a monkey to play guitar in a week however when Josh begins to practise he manages to break all of the strings.
At the party, Josh wears a special jacket that enables Drake to play behind a curtain with his arms in the jacket, while it appears to be Josh doing all the work. Josh pretends to play the song, however at the end when he is trying to leave the stage Kathy pulls Josh, concequently pulling Drake through the curtain. Josh tells the truth near the end. The next day, Kathy opens her locker to reveal a portrait of her made by Josh. Wondering how his painting got in her locker, he asks Drake, who tells him that he put it there using Megan's lock picking kit.
