Firin' squad

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Firin’ Squad first started in London’s underground club scene over a decade ago. Today they are at the forefront of the urban music takeover.

Last year, the crew finished presenting a weekly radio show which they had held down for seven years on Kiss 100, in London. Smooth Grooves was broadcast live every Monday night. The show received a nomination for the Urban Music Awards 2006 – despite the show no longer being on air.

The guys recently launched a new project, with which they continue their support for new music and fully embrace the digital music revolution. The Firin’ Squad Unsigned Podcast – nicknamed the "Squadcast” – is a series of monthly podcasts showcasing some of the best of the UK’s unsigned talent.
