Amphiprion melanopus Bleeker, 1852 |
The fire clownfish, Amphiprion melanopus, is a species of the clownfish. These clownfish go through different stages in life. While they are young, they have a white band across their head. This band soon disappears as they grow to become adult fish. Like all clownfish species, the fire clownfish is omnivorous. Fire clownfish often eat shrimp.
