Fire Dogs/The Littlest Giant

"Fire Dogs" and "The Littlest Giant" are 15-minute episodes of the animated television show, Ren and Stimpy. These are the only episodes in Season 1 that don't show up on Nicktoons Network.

[edit] Plot
Dr. Stupid gets a letter from Billy of Lompoc, West Kansas which says, "Dear Dr. Stupid, why do I have to go to school?", and after Dr. stupid uses his "patented stupomitron helmet", he says his incorrect answer, which is, "Your parents are aliens, and while you're at school, they shed their human skins and breathe dryer lint!".

- At far views of Dr. Stupid's office, look closely and you can see an upside-down map.
- This "Ask Dr. Stupid" bumper is slightly different from the others. Maybe the others are different to make it more entertaining.

Ren and Stimpy are in the streets, starving. Ren felt he and Stimpy will die. Stimpy suggested that Ren should eat his last morsel. Ren seemed to enjoy it, and asks Stimpy what it was. Stimpy responded by saying that it was his last grain of kitty litter, in which he had been saving for weeks. Ren gaged the litter morsel out, and broke Stimpy's litterbox. Stimpy cried by saying, "You broke it! You broke it! My "foist" material possession!".
Just then, Ren and Stimpy noticed a sign for a job, meaning that they're saved! Ren read the sign. It said, "Fire Dogs Wanted. Good Pay. Benefits.". However, Ren was dissapointed as Ren read the last line: "Dalmatians only.". Stimpy asked Ren what a Dalmatian is. Ren didn't answer, and put Dalmatian paint on himself and Stimpy. He put up a mirror beside Stimpy and asked him what he saw. Stimpy responded, "Ugly, black spots.". Then, Ren told him to "shut up and look stupid".
Ren knocked the door to the Fire Chief's office. The Fire Chief slammed an ax on the ground and shouted, "I've had it up to here with the likes of you people!", thinking that they're circus midgets. He soon realizes that they look like Dalmatians, so he apologized. Ren said that the Fire Chief's troubles are over. However, Stimpy almost blew their cover by saying that he's a cat, but Ren interrupted and told the Fire Chief that Stimpy's "not quite right in the head". The Fire Chief said that he'd known fellers like that, and that Ren and Stimpy are hired.
At the fire station, Stimpy continuously ran down the stairs and slid up a pole. Ren told him, "Do you know what the odds are of there ever being a fire? 1,000,000 to 1!". Despite what he said, the fire alarm went off right after that. Stimpy, Ren, and the Fire Chief went aboard the fire truck for their mission.
The fire truck stopped at an apartment. The room that was on fire was Mrs. Buttloaves' room. Ren and Stimpy had to save her (big) baby, her horse, her walrus, and her elephant. The weight was too much for Stimpy and Ren. Mostly Ren. But, the rescue wasn't over yet; they still had to save Mrs. Buttloaves! Ren was too climb up a ladder to Mrs. Buttloaves' room, and by the time Ren reached the room, the height scares him to death, and he eventually faints. Mrs. Buttloaves was worried, and rushed down the ladder, and gave Ren mouth-to-mouth recisitation. Ren was alive again, but he was totally freaked out when he saw Mrs. Buttloaves up close and faints again. Stimpy put a big bag of kitty litter on the fire, thus putting it out.
The Fire Chief was impressed and rewarded them with the sacred, golden, fire hydrant helmets. Stimpy said that he could hardly contain himself. Neither could some dogs (or even Mrs. Buttloaves for that matter), because the helmets were shaped like fire hydrants.

- This episode was shown as part of 'Adult Party Cartoon' along with "Fire Dogs 2: Part 1"
- There is also a music video based on this episode with is the same name as the episode. It originally appeared on the Sony video, "On Duty", and now, it occasioningly plays on Nicktoons Network.

This episode begins with stock-footage from "Robin Hoek" in which Ren and Stimpy get ready for bed. When Stimpy starts reading, and Ren starts dreaming, The Littlest Giant (Stimpy) gets bothered by some bigger giants. Stimpy decided to run away from Hugevania forever, never to return again.
The Little Giant wrote a letter to the bigger giants saying tha he'll run away, but (maybe) because he thought it was too sad, he ate it. He (sadly) stomped away from Hugevania across the sea, to the village of Thumbsville.
We find Wee Ren sitting sadly by a well. He said that the well is dry, his cow only giving powdered milk, and the chickens only laying silt. Just then, he saw the Little giant's tears filling the well. Wee Ren was so proud, he told him that he would do anything the Little Giant wanted. He even allowed for the Little Giant to live with him forever. And they lived happily ever after (well, maybe not Ren, because the Little Giant's loud snoring keeps him awake).

[edit] Plot
It's the end of the show, and Stimpy doesn't want to say, "Goodbye.". Ren offers Stimpy to eat olive loaf 'til he pukes, or to floss his toes, but Stimpy doesn't like those ideas. Finally, Ren suggests that Stimpy should chase his tail until he's dizzy, but Stimpy said he doesn't have a tail. But Ren forced him to chase his butt. After Stimpy did it, he felt kind of sick.
