Fire Camp

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fire Camp are an East London UK Grime music collective consisting of MCs Lethal Bizzle, Ozzie B, Gambit, Knowledge, Taz, Fader, Fumin, Top Kat, 2-Face, Gloka, Clipper, 2-Lip-E, Wizz Kid, DJs Twister and Faraknight.

Fire Camp officially formed in early 2004 with the demise of the More Fire Crew. Featuring talent new to the scene at the time, they quickly made their name regularly hosting pirate radio sets on Mystic FM, Raw UK, Crews Control FM and later Hav It FM. This was during the success of crew member Lethal Bizzle's hit single "Pow(Forward)", so many got to tour the whole of the UK and feature on the follow up "No".

Fire Camp's "No" was a massive hit in the clubs and featured on Lethal Bizzles debut solo album Against All Oddz which went on to over 45,000 copies.

The next visual representation Fire Camp brought was "Forward 2", featuring Lethal Bizzle, Ozzie B, 2-Face, Gloka, Gambit & Knowledge. This was regularly played on Channel U and supported by respected DJs Tim Westwood, Logan Sama, Cameo amongst many more.

In 2007 members of the camp have solo mixtapes lined up for release, as well as a DVD project with On Point Productions.

Currently Fire Camp are preparing their debut album release independently entitled "Great Fire Of London"
