[edit] Biological anthropology

Please note that physical anthropology is redirected to biological anthropology by concensus of the Wikipedia community. Since Coon would have considered himself a physical anthropologist because that was the terminology of his day, biological anthropology is a term which better suits his work, it is appropriate to have the text say physical anthropology while still linking to the article which properly describes the, now defunct, area of physical/biological anthropology. I actually prefer the term physical anthropology because it illuminates the fact that it is a pseudo-science and not scholarly at all, but that's just my opinion. However, your edits to withdraw the link is vandalism and a violation of the concensus of the Wiki community. Please refrain from disrupting wikipedia to make a point - see WP:POINT.--Strothra 03:51, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Carleton S. Coon, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Strothra 04:27, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Making proper citations

WP:CITE and Wikipedia:Footnotes should be able to help you learn how to make proper citations in articles so that you can cite specific works and page numbers in order to replace {{fact}}> tags.--Strothra 03:59, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR

Just a friendly warning that your next revert on Carleton S. Coon will be in violation of 3RR, and you will be reported. --JereKrischel 19:44, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

FYI - see WP:3RR for details on the three-revert rule. It basically says that you can't revert any page more than three times in 24 hours. If you choose to disregard the rule you can be blocked from editing. Guettarda 19:56, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
You have been reported. [1] --JereKrischel 20:02, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
