The old English translation was deleted as it was still under copyright laws. I tried to translate the song to English myself, Finnish being my mother tongue and all. Hope this is fine? -Splendor Blender

It was fine, but not perfect. I made a number of minor changes. --Chino

[edit] Merge?

The subject matter of Finlandia Hymn seems to overlap with that on the main Finlandia article. Is there a need for two seperate articles, particularly as Finlandia is surely a more popular search term than Finlandia Hymn, but is actually the most sketchy article of the two? I agree with your statement of the situation. I started by re-organizing the pages, so that the symphonic poem's page was even more spartan, hoping it would re-direct people to the hymn page. But then I decided to make Finlandia a re-direct to Finlandia Hymn, and moved the old Finlandia page fo Finlandia (symphonic poem). Comments? I hope no one minds I took the liberty. --Tisco 02:15, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
