Finstown is a small village in Orkney Mainland.

It has two food shops GD Pottinger and Bakies. There is a post office and Allans Of Gillocks. As well a these services there is a garage called Essons, a hairdresser (Hilary's Guys and Dolls) and the Firth Primary School. Most of these buildings are situated on the main Stromness to Kirkwall road.

The origin of it's name has been thought to come from an Irishman named 'Fin' who came to the area.
