Finnsheep
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Finnsheep or Finnish Dorset is known for large lamb crops. It is not uncommon for a ewe to have 3, 4, or even 5 lambs at once. The lambs are often weak and small at birth, but with care, grow well. The Finnsheep is often used in cross breeding programs to increase lambing percentage, and Finnsheep blood is found in many of the newer breeds.
