Finn Peters

Flautist and saxophonist. Studied music at Durham University and then the postgraduate jazz course at Guildhall School of Music. Member of F-IRE Collective, he is a member of the contemporary classical music group Nosferatu. He also has worked with Two Banks Of Four and Matthew Herbert and recorded under the names Bansuri and Finntech. His first album under his own name was released in September 2006 with a band including Dave Okumu, pianist Nick Ramm, bassist Tom Herbert and drummer Tom Skinner. It was selected as a Jazzwise album of the year for 2006.
In 2006, he was chosen as part of the Jerwood Rising Stars programme.
