Finiq

Finiq is a small village in Albania, located 8 km from the Ionian Sea and 20 km north of the Greek border.

The hill north of actual Finiqi is the site of the ancient city of Phoinike (also known as Phoenice). The Italian Archaeological Mission in Albania is working there, in collaboration with the Archaeological Institute of Albania, since 2000.
