Final Fantasy Symphonic Suite is an arranged soundtrack album of video game music from the console role-playing game Final Fantasy II, produced by Square Co., Ltd. for the Famicom video game console (known internationally as the Nintendo Entertainment System). The album contains a selection of musical tracks from the games composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged in orchestra by Katsuhisa Hattori and his son Takayuki Hattori and performed by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Katsuhisa Hattori. It was first released on July 25, 1989, by Polystar/DataM and subsequently re-released on April 16, 1993, although information about this pressing is unknown and on March 25, 1994, by Polystar/NTT Publishing Co., Ltd.. The original release bears the catalog number H28X-10007, the first re-release bears the catalog number PSCR-5184, and the most recent re-release bears the catalog number PSCR-5253.
