"Final Exam" is the third episode in season one of the animated TV series Teen Titans. It was first broadcast on July 19, 2003 and lasts for about twenty minutes.

The Titans are enjoying pizza downtown, when they suddenly spot a truck about to chrash into a baby carriage, and rush to prevent disaster. They manage to stop the truck, but it turns out there is no driver in the truck, and no baby in the carriage. Bewildered, the Titans are ambushed by three super villains, Jinx, Gizmo and Mammoth, revealed to be from the H.I.V.E. Academy. The Titans are having difficulties holding stand, and when Robin is lost during the fight, they retreat back to their Tower.
Here they wonder what has become of Robin, hoping he is not gone. However, they are not left alone to ponder this for long. Shortly thereafter, the three H.I.V.E. Students attack again, this time chasing the team throughout the entire Tower. The Titans are eventually defeated and literally thrown out of their Tower. With their spirits down and their home lost, the team is on the verge to give up, when Robin suddenly emerges, unharmed. Together they make a plan to retain the Tower.
The three H.I.V.E. Students are celebrating their apparent victory making themselves at home in the Tower. Without them noticing, Cyborg uses one of his remote controlled cybernetic arms to ambush Gizmo, while Starfire and Raven surprise attack Mammoth and Jinx, knocking them down. In the following battle on the Tower roof, the Titans, using cunning and craftiness as well as their strength, finally manage to defeat the three villains. Robin has now realised the H.I.V.E. Students were hired to attack them, and angrily starts asking Gizmo about the name Slade, which Gizmo gloatingly refuses to answer.
The last scene shows the mysterious villain from the episode "Divide and Conquer", now revealed to be Slade. He is pleased knowing that the Titans now are aware of his presence in the town, stating that he never expected the H.I.V.E. Students to defeat the Titans. They were merely messengers, and the message has been received.
