Talk:Film Movement
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"An editor has expressed a concern that the subject of the article does not satisfy the notability guideline for Companies."
I did a quick search to see if there were any sources that might establish notability.
This article, on indieWIRE (an website about independent film), describes the ideas of The Film Movement's founder, Larry Meistrich, formerly of The Shooting Gallery, an earlier film distribution company: INDUSTRY SPOTLIGHT: Film Movement's Meistrich Attempts to Reinvent Indie Distribution (http://www.indiewire.com/people/people_021219meistrich.html)
It seems to me that this site has a somewhat unique distribution philosophy, etc., but that in and of itself is insufficient to establish notability. Can anyone else find anything suggesting notability?

I'm not sure how helpful this is, but I believe that this article was helpful. My friend told me about this one movie and I liked it, and I wnated to find out more movies they have made. It's like a record label entry. Instead of bands that it has signed, it lists movies it has put out.
