Fils de France

Fils de France ("Son of France" in English) was the title given to the sons of the kings and dauphins of France. Daughters used the title Fille de France meaning "Daughter of France." Both males and females enjoyed the style of Royal Highness. Although the children of French monarchs are often referred to as prince or princess in English, those titles were never officially used in France during the monarchy.
