Fikret Mujkić

Fikret Mujkić (born May 13, 1949. in Sarajevo) is a former Yugoslav and Bosnian football player.
His career began in FK Željezničar youth team. As one of the most talented players of generation, he was included in first team. He was a member of FK Željezničar squad that won Yugoslav championship in 1971-1972 season. He left the club that same year. He signed a contract with Dinamo Zagreb for which he played until 1974. After that, he played for NAC Breda and Panathinaikos. He had returned to FK Željezničar before he finally ended his playing career in 1977. He played 140 league games (43 goals) for FK Željezničar. In Dinamo Zagreb, he played 73 games (42 goals).
He also played for Yugoslav national team. He collected 5 caps and he scored one goal. He is a record holder for number of appearances for Yugoslav Under-21 team as he played 45 times. He played 23 games for olympic team as well.
Although he was one of the most promissing players at the time, he has never actually managed to reach the predicted level. He was not fully concentrated on football, but despite that he will be remembered as a great striker and a footballer with excellent technical skills.
He was nicknamed "Pike".
