Figali Convention Center

The Figali Convention Center is an indoor sporting arena located in Fort Amador, Panama City, Panama. It has a high-class structure and architecture, making it one of the best if not the best Convention Center in Central America.

The capacity of the arena is 10,275. It was built in 2003 as the main venue for the Miss Universe 2003 Pageant which took place in Panama that year. Since then, the Figali Convention Center has been used mainly for many concerts and sports events as boxing and ice skating.

Figali enterprises was under scrutiny by the ARI (Autoridad de la Región Interoceánica). The illegal business dealings done by that company have tarnished Figali enterprises. Jean Figali sought damages done by ARI amounting to $850 million. No stipend was paid.

Most of the activities at the Figali have had disappointing results.

Some international artists that have performed in the Figali Convention Center include: The Black Eyed Peas, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ricardo Arjona, Daddy Yankee, Shakira, Carlos Santana, Alejandro Sanz, and many more.
