Fiescherhorn is a name given to three mountains in the Bernese Alps range of the Swiss Alps. They are the Gross Fiescherhorn (4049m), Hinter Fiescherhorn (4025 m) and Ochs (3900 m). The mountains are well hidden behind other mountains of greater height and can only been seen from the city of Grindelwald (1034 m), but it is not usually the starting point for an ascent.
Ascents are usually made from one of these three popular routes, one starting from the Obermönchsjoch hut (see Mönch), one at the Konkordia hut (see Jungfrau), and the third from the Finsteraarhorn hut.
The summit was first reached on July 23, 1862 by H.B. George, Christian Almer, Ulrich Kaufmann, Adolphus Warburton Moore.
