Talk:Fiducial
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fiducial markers are also used in diagnostic medical imaging. In this case the markers are often in three-dimensions, e.g., a box-like structure that is fastened to a patient's head. These are used where very accurate localisation is required, such as for radiation treatment of certain cancers, or for surgical proceedures. (Drickey 21:55, 20 November 2006 (UTC))
