Fevzi Turkalp

Fevzi Turkalp, otherwise known as the 'Gadget Detective' is a contributor to Mike Mendoza's show on TalkSPORT. Fevzi's Talksport spot can currently be heard every Friday night/Saturday morning from 2am-3am.

Fevzi has appeared on television including Sky News and BBC News 24 commenting on the latest technology news as well as appearing on The Technology Channel also known as .tv . Before arriving at TalkSPORT, Fevzi appeared on London's LBC (when it was 1152am) and was a regular guest with Steve Allen and with Jon Briggs' 'Weekend Wireless Show' on Saturday lunchtimes. He stood in and eventually replaced Bob Tomalski who died due to ill health. When LBC was bought by Chrysalis Radio and moved to 97.3FM, Fevzi became a regular contributor on many other LBC programmes including those of Roland Rivron, Mike Mendoza and Peter Deeley.

Fevzi can also be heard Wednesday mornings on BBC Radio Berkshire from around 11.15 and has also been heard on LBC, BBC Radio Five Live and BBC 6 Music.

Fevzi created the "Gadget Detective" website to support his various technology slots and to provide a free technology advice service. Visitors to the site's "Free Tech Advice" section can receive free help with a wide range of consumer tech problems including those relating to computers, cameras, mobile phones, television, HiFi, DAB radio, Sat-Nav etc. The problems can be solved either by Fevzi or by the dedicated team of trusted contributors and posters who regularly visit the site. Fevzi has contributed to a non tech section on Talksport sitting in with Mike Mendoza and Al Rantel from KABC Radio Califonia discussing many varied subjects.

Visitors to the Gadget Detective site can also download podcasts of archived Gadget Detective broadcasts.
