Fergman is a dumb nickname I got in middle school; I added the 3001 because I needed to add a number to it and I didn't want a random number (fergman18 just doesn't cut it for me). Fergman kind of sounds like a superhero, and 3001 makes it seem like those superhero comics set in the future (Spiderman 3000 or 3030, whatever it is). I use this name for just about everything I need a user name for. (I'm on the message boards at IMDb, Trigger Street, etc.)
