Grupo Ferrovial, S.A., (IBEX-35:FER) (Group Ferrovial) is a Spanish company involved in construction, infrastructure, real estate and related services.

The company is owned 60% by the Del Pino Family, founders of its original construction company. Rafael del Pino started in 1952 a railroad contruction company called Ferrovial. (The word "Ferrovia" means "Railroad" in Spanish.)

On April, 2000 the Ferrovial Group bought more than 50% of Polish top constructing company Budimex Dromex S.A. which led to further strengthening position of Budimex on Polish market. Thanks to that Ferrovial has extended further into the east Europe with its range, and Budimex Dromex became the biggest constructing company (roads, buildings and pipe systems) in Poland. Since starting the consortium of those two worldwide well-known companies, Ferrovial has implemented few programs for improving co-operation, like Gemini or Corporate University. Both of them allows Polish Budimex workers to work in Spanish Ferrovial for at least a year and learn patterns of managing according to EU standards. This way Spanish company is controlling the level of skills of its management workers in Poland.

On June 5, 2006 a Ferrovial led consortium purchased UK based airport operator BAA plc valuing the company at £10bn [1].

Grupo Ferrovial also owns, through its subsidiary Amey, a share of Tube Lines, one of the two PPP companies responsible for the maintenance of London Underground's lines and rolling stock.
