Ferreira do Alentejo (pron. IPA: [fɨ'ʁɐiɾɐ] or [fɨ'ʁeɾɐ du ɐlẽ'tɛʒu]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 648.4 km² and a total population of 8,505 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 6 parishes, and is located in the District of Beja.

The present Mayor is Aníbal Coelho Costa, elected by the Socialist Party.

The municipal holiday is March 5.
