Ferdinand, Hereditary Prince of Leiningen (Ferdinand Heinrich Emich Christian Karl, b. August 8, 1982) is the eldest son of Prince Andreas of Leiningen and his wife Princess Alexandra of Hanover. He was born on Through his father, he is a descendant of Queen Victoria. Through his mother, he is a descendant of the Kings of Hanover and the Kings of Denmark. He is also a descendant of the last German Emperor, Kaiser Wilhelm II.
Because he is a descendant of Queen Victoria, he is in the line of succession to the British Throne. He is currently 114th in line.
