Was called Veteran Fencers Quarterly (VFQ) and was founded by Bruce Darling in 1996.

In June 2000 Nick Evangelista, took over as publisher of the magazine, and also changed the title to Fencers Quarterly Magazine.

In Spring 2006, Nick Evangelista's son, Justin Evangelista, took over as editor and graphic designer of the magazine.
