[edit] Basic Information
The Fellowship of Independent and Global Churches & Ministries, Inc. is a correlation of Christian churches, ministries and paraministries, pastors and ministers which recognize the need for networking, accountability, fellowship, trust and integrity, and an outlet for resource facilitation. Our mission is to become a catalyst and a resource agent for the unity and support of churches, ministries and paraministries that desire to full destiny. Our key concern is that every member be provided with the necessary tools to mature the individual call and the vision of God as understood by each member, through the unification and the networking of our collective member resources. This Fellowship can assist all of the churches, ministries and paraministries in fulfilling their respective roles in the body of Christ.
Although it serves as a spiritual covering for its members, the Fellowship is not a denomination. It does not govern any of its member ministries. Each ministry operates personally, privately, and independently of the Fellowship and the member ministry has no required reporting accountability in their personal church affairs in the way they operate to this Fellowship. However, members of the Body of Christ should live the life representative of Christ and above reproach. Therefore, we are there for strengthening and to make sure full integrity is there to the utmost. To bring churches of different sizes (non-mega/medium to small sized churches) together for fellowship. Not to rape, rob, nor pillage the church or saints of God. To be loyal, committed and have no excuses.
[edit] Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible and
authoritative word of God.
- We believe there is one God internally existing in three persons - God the
Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus the Christ, in His virgin birth, in
His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and the blessed hope of His personal, visible, future return to earth to receive to Himself His blood bought church that it may be with Him forever.
- We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through
repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
- We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for
personal salvation.
- We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing
of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
- We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 with
the evidence of speaking in tongues is given to believers who ask for it.
- We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling
the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost. The one to
everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation
