Felice Arena (born March 10, 1968) is one of Australia's most popular children's authors. He is best known for the bestselling Specky Magee children's novels.

Felice Arena was born on March 10, 1968 in Kyabram, Victoria. Arena attended La Trobe University, in Bendigo, Victoria. He graduated as a primary school teacher but decided to pursue his love of writing.

Prior to becoming a bestselling author, Felice was an actor. He played Marco Alessi in Neighbours for a year. He also starred in many London West End musicals, including Hair, Godspell and What a feeling with Irena Cara.

Felice's best-selling series of Specky Magee was co-written with his former school mate and Australian Rules Football legend, Garry Lyon.

Garry Lyon debuted at the Melbourne Demons Aussie Rules Football Club at 18 years of age. He retired after 14 years in the AFL with the Best and Fairest and Leading Goal Kicker awards. He was picked for Victorian and All-Australian teams, and played 226 games. He was the captain of the Melbourne Demons for 7 years, and coached the Australian International Rules Team for 4 years. He now co-hosts the AFL Footy Show with James Brayshaw. Garry Lyon went to school with Felice Arena.

Specky Magee has been Felice Arena's most successful series to date. His first book, Specky Magee, was first released in 2002. Since then he has released Specky Magee and the Great Footy Contest, Specky Magee and the Season of Champions, Specky Magee and the Boots of Glory and his most recent installment, Specky Magee and a Legend in the Making. The next Specky adventure is due release, March 2007. Collectively, his Specky Magee, Boyz Rule and Girlz Rock books have been shortlisted for over 30 Australian Children's Choice Awards. Recently, Specky Magee and the Boots of Glory won the Young Australian Best Book Award (YABBA) for 2006.
