  • Advanced Placement courses: Calculus, U.S. History, Biology, World History, English, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Pre-AP: Classes in English, History of the Pacific Region, World History, Science, and Biology for 9th and 10th graders.

Federal Way is in the South Division of the South Puget Sound League in Washington's West Central District. The most recent successes in the State tournaments include a 1st place finish in 2001 and 2nd place finishes in 2000, '02 and '03 by the Baseball team. In 2006 FWHS Left the South Division of the South Puget Sond Leauge (SPSL) and joined the North SPSL.
