The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences & Technology is a coeducational public university located in Gulshan Town, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

Federal Urdu University was established on 12 November 2002 by presidential order, the university is the first university in Pakistan to teach primarily in the Urdu language. There are two satellite campuses, in Abdul Haq and Gulshan. President Pervez Musharraf is the university's first chancellor and Dr. Syed Kamaluddin is the vice chancellor.

Approximately 13,5000 students are pursuing degrees primarily in technical fields, such as electrical engineering, computer science, and economics.[1] Plans exist to add courses in home economics, journalism, and law in the next few years. Fees and tuition are approximately Rs. 21,000, or $354 per semester.
