[edit] Biography

Fedde le Grand's rise to fame began when he started to spin at the Danssalon in Eindhoven, which is one of Holland's most popular clubs. He has fulfilled his residency on Sundays for more than two years, performing for a music-savvy gay crowd. Since then, his career has taken off, and le Grand now performs all over The Netherlands.

Sneakerz is le Grand's own club night which he created in cooperation with 1 Management. Besides creating club nights he also creates music. Le Grand has been producing since 2001. His tracks have been signed by Little Mountain Recordings (Sander Kleinenberg), Influence (Antoine Clamaran), Flamingo Records, Work, the UK labels CR2 Records and Toolroom. His biggest single "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit" was first released under Flamingo Records and later on, under CR2 Records.

Since 1998, Fedde le Grand has played in almost every well-known club in The Netherlands and he is considered to be one of the most energetic and danceable DJs around. Le Grand has also played in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Greece, and Israel - Tel Aviv, where he can be found next to people like Deep Dish, Audio Bullies, Tenaglia, and Victor Calderone amongst other.

In 2003 he started to collaborate with DJ Erick E as "Sticky People" and produced several songs for Sander Kleinenberg and the tracks for the PlayStation 2 game Cyclone Circus.[1]
