Februus (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Februus is an audio-art project formed in Edinburgh in 2004 by multi-instrumentalist & vocalist Guy Perchard and vocalists & co-producers Rebecca Arnott and Andrew Donaldson (Vulnerable).
In February 2005, Februus released their first full length album entitled "Fading Memory" on Dreadwest Records. The recording included guest performances including bass guitar from Aythan Lewes of 25 Cats Named Sam, lead guitar from Daniel Curtis & Larree, keyboards, arrangement and co-production from Sandy Johnstone and co-production from Callum Arnott of Avarice.
One year on from the first Februus release, on the 25th of February 2006, Februus took to the stage at the Tron in Edinburgh for an extremely well received live debut. The live act comprised of the three original members (Guy on vocals & guitar, Rebecca on vocals and keyboards and Andrew on vocals and engineering) plus James Fraser on vocals and lead guitar and Dave Wrighton on bass.
