[edit] Synopsis
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Phoebe's roguish ex-boyfriend from New York, Clay, comes to town looking for a reconciliation. Unfortunately his attentions usually come with strings attached, in this case, a stolen Egyptian urn which carries a mortal curse. Although Prue's overprotective sisterly hackles are raised by Clay's arrival, she deals with her own problem of trying to save the auction house from bankruptcy, while Piper's use of benign witchcraft in a misguided attempt at match-making may have the opposite effect.

[edit] Enemies
- Guardian of the Urn: The Guardian of the Urn is neither good nor evil. She simply exists to protect the urn from thieves. When someone steals the urn, she takes physical shape from her previous art depiction on the urn and similarly causes other art depictions of various poisonous animals such as spiders, snakes and scorpions to come to life off the urn in order to kill the thief as punishment. She is immune to outside magic and teleports the urn back to its original owner once the thief is killed.
[edit] Artifacts
- Egyptian Urn: An ancient urn from Egypt which carries a curse against anyone who tries to steal it. It is protected by the Guardian of the Urn.

[edit] Trivia
- In the later episode All Halliwell's Eve, Phoebe is told that her true love's name begins with the letter "C". The episode was supposed to insinuate that her true love was Cole, but in this episode her love's name is Clay, which also starts with a "C". This prophesy was fulfilled at the end of the series (season 8) when Phoebe married the destined father of her children and her true love, Coop the Cupid, on the series finale, Forever Charmed.
- Piper claims that she is starting to control unfreezing objects.
- In the later episode Heartbreak City, Cupid names all of Phoebe's boyfriends she had in New York. Clay wasn't mentioned even though she dated him in New York.
