Feast of the Bullfrogs

Feast of the Bullfrogs is a rather unusual episode in season 3 of Courage the Cowardly Dog.

[edit] Plot

A group of bullfrogs have had all the water in their pond drained and seek a new one. In the Bagge farmhouse, the Bagges begin to notice frogs appearing in the house, coming through various liquids. After these strange appearances occur, the Bullfrog King, Buffo, appears, declaring that he is taking over the Bagge farmhouse, and with his bodyguard and intellegent, fluent-English speaking henchman, along with the rest of his army, forces the Bagges to dig and make a pond for him and his frogs. After a lot of hard work, the Bagges successfully manage to make a pond for him, and he and his frogs are most satisfied. However, Buffo commands that the Bagges stay with them and that if they are to stay, then they must become like frogs. After a while, Eustace and Muriel begin to act like frogs themselves. Courage discovers that the bullfrogs are planning on a feast, and that the legs of Eustace and Muriel are to be served to Buffo. Courage is forced to think fast, and manages to get a lot of flies attached to flypaper. Buffo's frogs see this and they all get their tongues stuck to the flypaper. Courage grabs this group of frogs, all stuck together and throws them far away. Buffo is frustrated that he's been defeated, and declares that he will go and find a new pond and new followers. Muriel and Eustace are returned to their ordinary selves and Buffo leaves. That evening, on the TV, it is shown that Buffo has become a famous baseball player, thanks to his long tongue.
