Fearless Music is a musical showcase filmed in New York City featuring bands that are on the cusp of the mainstream and indie rock circuits. The word "fearless" in the name refers to the fear that many artists and promoters have of not having their work accepted in the mainstream. This often causes them to compromise and sanitize their work. However, some critics have noted that due to only semi-famous bands being featured and the show only airing in New York and a few other metropolitan areas, the show is influenced by this fear as much any other music television program.
