Fearless is a series of teen books written by Francine Pascal, creator of the Sweet Valley High franchise.

Set in New York City, Fearless tells the story of 17 year old Gaia Moore, a girl born without the fear gene. The final book in the series was published in November 2004. Books 1-31 are available in both the British and American covers, but 32-36 are only available in the American ones. There are 36 books in the series, and two additional super editions, which give extra information of the past and present times in the series.

The series has shown three different models in its lifetime. The first was a model whom was identified as "Nika" but is widely doubted by the Fearless Fanbase, a second model has been used but has never been identified, and a third model came in later in the series who was identified as model/actress Abby Brammel.

A pilot based on the series and given the same name starring Rachel Leigh Cook as Gaia was filmed for The WB, but never made it to air due to casting and other concerns and its timeslot was later replaced by One Tree Hill on the network's fall schedule, and was later considered a serious contender for a mid-season replacement. The pilot was filmed a second time, but issues over the main character could not be resolved. Producers could not show a character without a fear gene showing emotion in a convincing fashion.

A continuation of the series, Fearless FBI, was introduced in June 2005. As of August 2006, four installments have been published. The titles of the four books are Kill Game, Live Bait, Agent Out, and Naked Eye. Will, Catherine, and Kim are some of the other main characters in the series along with Gaia.

The series was and still is widely loved online. Fans visited online creating various extensive fansites. However most of these websites are now years old and no longer updated, but fans still meet at the very popular Fearless Forever. The rumor that has been assumed is that there were only four installments intended, and Francine Pascal will no longer continue to write(that is the Fearless FBI series).
