FCKeditor is an open source WYSIWYG text editor that can be used in web pages. It aims to be lightweight without requiring much installation before use. It integrates with PHP, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, ColdFusion, Java, and ABAP. The FCK in FCKeditor stands for Frederico Caldeira Knabben, the creator of the editor. FCKeditor is compatible with most internet browsers which include: IE 5.5+ (Windows), Firefox 1.0+, Mozilla 1.3+ and Netscape 7+. The author has been cooperating with Opera Software to ensure compatibility with Opera in a future version.
