FC Zirka Kirovohrad

FC Zirka Kirovohrad is a former Ukrainian football team. The team was situated in Kirovohrad, Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukraine and was founded in 1922. Zirka debuted in the Ukrainian Premier League 1994-95 season, where they finished 6th. In the Ukrainian Premier League 1999-00 season they finished in last place and were sent down to the Persha Liha. They submerged once again for the 2003-04 season, but finished in last place and were demoted again.
The club ceased to exist in 2006 because of financial difficulties, having finished the 2005-06 season in 9th place (out of 15) of Druha Liha B.
