FC Terek Grozny (Russian: Футбольный клуб "Терек") is a Russian football club, currently playing in Russian First Division. Originally founded in 1946, as Dynamo, it changed the name in 1948 to Neftyanik and in 1958 to Terek. In the 1990s the club was disbanded for some time. While the club is based in the capital, Grozny, due to the current situation in Chechnya, home games are played in the neighbouring Stavropolskiy kray in the resort city of Pyatigorsk. European competition home games were played in Moscow.

They won Russian Cup by beating Krylya Sovetov Samara at final and Russian First Division in 2004. They did not participate in the Russian championship on any level during First and Second Chechen Wars, so some people thought that the competitions they won were rigged by the government to please those Chechens who support the Moscow rule. However, their lineup had a lot of experienced players, so their victories were most likely earned honestly. In 2004 they advanced through the UEFA Cup qualification by beating Polish team Lech Poznan 1-0 at both legs but lost to Swiss outfit FC Basel at first round: 1-1, 0-2.
