FC Shirak is an Armenian football team, playing in the town of Gyumri (formerly Leninakan). They play their home games at Gyumri City Stadium.
Artur Petrosyan and Harutiun Vardanyan where from this club. Both of them were considered to be the best players for Armenian National Team before retiring.
Shirak is financially strugling in recent years (2005, 2006). For that reason the club is not doing well in Armenian Premier League.
