FC Irtysh are a Kazakhstani football club based at the Tsentralny Stadium in Pavlodar. Probably the leading club in the country since independence, Irtysh won the Kazakhstan Superleague in 1993 (as Ansat Pavlodar), 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2003. They have participated in the AFC Champions League a number of times, reaching the semi-finals in 2001.
