FC Etar Veliko Tarnovo

FC Etar Veliko Tarnovo (ФК Етър Велико Търново) is a Bulgarian football club from Veliko Tarnovo currently competing in the second division of Bulgarian football as PFC Etar-1924. Founded in 1924, the team was champion of Bulgaria during the 1990-91 season. In the following years, the club gradually lost importance and was relegated from the top division. Its team colour is violet purple. FC Etar Veliko Tarnovo's nickname is "bolyarite" (болярите) and one of the club's most famous former players is Krassimir Balakov.
