The Fayetteville FireAntz are a minor-professional ice hockey team, playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League SPHL, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The inaugural season was the 2002-03 campaign. They play their home games at Cumberland County Crown Coliseum

The FireAntz, now in their 5th anniversary season, have boasted such talent as Goaltender Chad Collins and Forwards Steve Roberts, George Nistas, Kory Baker, Josh Welter, Tim Velemirovich, Matt Kohansky, Dean Jackson, Tyler Perry, David Bagley, Rob Sich and Peter Cermak. Defensemen of note include Mike Clarke, Mark Phenow, Mike Fournier, Scott Young, Adam Meyer and Dylan Row.

The current Head Coach of the FireAntz, John Marks, is the all-time leader in victories in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). He is one of only eight coaches in history with more than 700 career victories. Marks also had a distinguished playing career in the NHL, playing for the Chicago Blackhawks for 10 years, many along side of Stan Mikita.
