Fawkner Blues

The Fawkner Blues are an Australian football (soccer) club from Fawkner, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The club was formed in 1965 by Italian migrants, and play in the Victorian Premier League. After being promoted five times in six years from 1977-1982, they spent the period from 1983-2004 in the VPL. At the end of 2004, they entered into a merger of their senior side with the Whittlesea Stallions, called the Fawkner-Whittlesea Blues, a situation which was ended at the end of the 2006 season.
