Favorite Son is an episode of Star Trek: Voyager, the 20th episode of the third season.
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Harry Kim becomes convinced that he's from the planet Taresia and he wants to return home to his people. However, he was actually infeced with a virus which made him look and feel Taresian. All males infected with the virus, and who return to Taresia are killed for use in creating more Taresian females, constituting the bulk of the population.
