Faujdarhat Cadet College, is a military high school, located at Faujdarhat, near Chittagong, in Bangladesh.

Faujdarhat Cadet College was the first Cadet College to be established in erstwhile East Pakistan.

Faujdarhat cadet college is situated in Dhaka-Chittagong grand road.Chittagong is only half an hour from this cadetcollege.Bangladesh Military Academy(BMA) is also 2km away from

it.Infront of Faujdarhat cadet college it is Bay of Bengal.The communication facility is very good with all around the country.

There is an up to date museum in the college. It is situated just beside the auditorium. The museum is decorated in such a way so as to reflect the history and heritage of the college and as hole to represent the Cadet College heritage. some of the stuffs in the museum are:

  • Picture of the batches of ex-cadets.
  • A complete list of cadets from 1958 to at present.
  • A large map of the world.

[edit] Dining Hall

The dining hall is named after the first principal of FCC as 'Colonel Brown Hall'.All cadets take their meals together in the dining hall.Tables are divided according to four respective houses.There are separate seating facilities for the prefects and the duty master generally known as the " High Table". Five meals are served every day at the dining hall. Cadets follow stringent dining etiquettes while taking meals.

The library is known as 'Rab Pathagar'.It contains more than ten thousand books.

  • Shahidullah House: The 3rd house of FCC.
  • Fazlul Haq House: The 4th house of FCC.

Everyday cadets take part in evening prayer in this mosque.

Faujdarhat Cadet College has a separate hospital specifically for all the cadets and employees. A full time doctor from the Army Medical Corps is appointed along with several qualified assistants.

All the medicines are provided free of cost. Sick cadets can report at the hospital every morning. The hospital is open 24 hours to accommodate any special needs.

Critical cases are directly referred to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Chittagong Cantonment.

Cadets are enrolled in the seventh grade.They continue their study for six years.The Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC) is the final examination to pass.Each class generally has fifty cadets.

The Secondary School Certificate(SSC) and the Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC) examinations are administered under diect control of the Board of Education of Chittagong Division. All the faculty members are high qualified. 'DISCIPLINE' is the main theme of education.All the examination dates are announced in the academic calendar at the beginning of the each academic year.A calendar year is usually divided into three terms.Including this parade,physical training(PT),games and sports and cultural show are integral part of this academic system.Every cadet take part in these activities actively.
