Talk:Fat′h Ali Shah Qajar

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I reverted an anon trying to remove this sentences:

Even today in Iran many people dislike or hate him for lossing so much of Persia's territories to the Russians.

I agree this sentence isn't perfect, but saying he is unpopular is not necessarily POV. Feel free to fix POV but dont delete good info in the process. Savidan 03:39, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] change to name

Thanks for putting all the diacritics and such on the primary name, but I'm not sure they are appropriate throughout the article. I think that, given the title of the article, Fath Ali Shah is better than the name you have used (which I am too lazy to reproduce). I also noticed that many of your contributions are to articles about Baha'i, and I will say that the orthography used by the Baha'i to transliterate persian to english is drastically different than standard Persian to English transliteration. Perhaps, given that this article would be better served with standard orthography, the continued use of diacritics is not appropriate.Dlayiga 07:23, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
