[edit] Plot
Set in inner-city Wooloomooloo in 1930, the neighbourhood nice guys are led by Fatty, an abititious 10 year old with an eye for making a quid. From shady frog jumping contests to a fixed goat race, Fatty tries to raise enough money to buy a crystal set (wireless radio) that's worth more than his Dad earns in a year. Bruiser Murphy the bully and his gang try to stop him. All the way to the hilarious ending it's brains against brawn as Fatty tries to triumph over the tough guys. "The Little Rascals" never had so much fun!

Fatty Finn (real name Hubert Finn) was created by Australian artist Syd Nicholls in the 1920's for the Sunday newpapers in competition with Ginger Meggs. While he was much more realistcally drawn than Ginger Meggs, reflecting Nicholls' superior draughtmanship, Fatty Finn couldn't quite match Ginger Meggs' brand of 'ocker' humour. Unlike Ginger Meggs, whose strip continues under the penmanship of James Kemsley to this day, Fatty Finn ended with the untimely death of Nicholls in 1977.
