Fatima Hill

Fatima Hill is a Japanese heavy metal band that was established in 1992. Guitarist Anjue Yamashiro, who set himself the goal to have Fatima Hill merge several styles into a traditional metal sound. Their first demo Ring and Queen, appeared in 1993. Two additional demos, entitled Ikaros and Beatrice follow. In December of 1994, the band wanted to start recording their debute album. This however was blocked by the fact that female vocalist Yuko had decided to leave the band.
Yuko returned in 1997, and the band worked on a new demo, called Invitation to Valhalla. This demo was followed by the release of their first album, which was called Valhalla. The band loses their old bassist Kato, who is replaced by Hayato Asano. In 2001, their second album, called Aion was released.
