Father Steven Clark
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Reverend Steven Clark is a priest serving the Anglican Church in America. He was ordained to the priesthood of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America, and he served as rector of St. Joseph's Episcopal Church in Durham, North Carolina. His opposition to the consecration of openly-gay Gene Robinson as Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire caused him to leave the denomination, taking roughly half of his congregation with him. On April 23, 2006, Clark celebrated his first Holy Eucharist as priest-in-charge of the newly organized St. Gregory's Anglican Church.
